Through this service, you can request the issuance of a social care facility license or a social care facility branch in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi
- Service terms and conditions: UAE nationals and legal person “non-governmental entities” who meet the conditions can apply for the issuance of a social care facility license in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and social care facilities operating in other emirates can apply for a license for a branch of a social care facility to practice its activities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
- Required Documents:
First Stage:
- Copy of publicity decision “if applicant public benefit institutions”
- Copy of the establishment law/decree “if applicant government entity”
- Valid Copy of The Emirates ID front and back of the partners, and applicant representatives
- Valid copy of the main page of passport for partners, and applicant representatives
- Copy of the academic qualifications and experience certificates of the partners
- Certificate of good conduct and a certificate of no criminal status
- Applicant curriculum vitae “only if applicant family consulting centre
- Social care facility license "in case of request to establish a branch"
Second Stage:
- Copy of the building inspection request
- Copy of the land map of the facility site
- Copy of the building plan showing the dimensions and sizes of rooms, halls, corridors, and sanitary facilities
- Copy of the title deed in case the building is owned by the license applicant or a copy of the lease contract
Third Stage:
- Valid copy of the trade license issued by the Department of Economic Development in case the application is to establish a commercial company
- Certificate of fulfilment of the conditions and requirements of the Department of Municipalities and Transport
- Certificate of fulfilment of civil defense conditions and requirements
- Conformity certificate from the Monitoring and Control Centre
- Insurance policy against liability for professional errors of the facility’s employees
- Document that clarifies or proves the solvency and financial sustainability of the facility and provides an economic feasibility study showing the estimated budgets of the facility for a period of 3 years.
- Valid Copy of The Emirates ID front and back of the administrative and professional staff
- Valid copy of the main page of passport for administrative and professional staff
- Copy of the academic qualifications and experience certificates of the entity director, and the staff
- Certificate of good conduct and a certificate of no criminal statusfor Staff
- Service Steps:
- Submit the application and the required documents through the available channels
- Receive DCD update to submit additional information or supported document if needed
- Receive a notification of the date of the site visit by the Department of Community Development for the reconnaissance
- Receive final decision on request to Issue social care facility/facility branch license through the available channel
- Receive a notification from the Department of Community Development regarding the start of providing services to beneficiaries
