Through this service, you can request an approval to Modify NPO license

  • Service terms and conditionsProviding all required documents in accordance with the Federal Decree by Law No. (50) of 2023 Concerning the Regulations of Public Welfare Association which are available on official websites.
  • Required Documents:
  1. Request letter to modify the licenced name including the new proposed name and reasons for the modifications
  2. Minutes of the extraordinary general assembly meeting including approval of modifying the association/foundation name
  3. No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) for modifying the association/foundation name
  4. Request letter to modify the licence including the specified items and reasons for the modifications. (Click Here)

  1. Submit the application along with the required documents through the available channels (ngo.licensing@addcd.gov.ae)
  2. Receive the final approval on the request once completed
