Abu Dhabi

His Excellency Eng. Hamad Ali Al Dhaheri, Undersecretary of the Department of Community Development (DCD) in Abu Dhabi, visited the Abu Dhabi Government Services (TAMM) centre in Al Forsan Village in Khalifa City in Abu Dhabi. The visit aimed to identify the most prominent challenges and assess the speed and quality of social services provided to beneficiaries in order to develop them to the highest standards with the aim of meeting the needs of the community.

The Undersecretary, accompanied by His Excellency Abdullah Humaid Al Ameri, Director General of Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority, toured the centre’s facilities, and met with visitors and beneficiaries of social support services and other services provided by the social sector in Abu Dhabi, whose number exceeds 100. The outing was part of a series of visits that falls within the framework of the ‘Leaders in the Field’ initiative, which seeks to enhance communication between government leaders and beneficiaries of services offered by various entities in the emirate.

His Excellency Eng. Al Dhaheri praised the important role of TAMM, stressing that its efforts testify to the success of integration and coordination between government entities in providing services according to best practices. He noted that during the COVID-19 pandemic, the social sector completed its digital transformation by making 100 per cent of its services accessible online through the TAMM platform. He added that with the gradual return to normal, the service centres receive all beneficiaries of social sector services and offer them comprehensive support under one roof.

His Excellency Eng. Al Dhaheri explained that the visit aimed to review the quality and speed of TAMM’s services, and analyse related challenges, especially after the launch of a new set of services, such as the Abu Dhabi Social Support Program, which has enjoyed great popularity since its inception.

He said: “We seek to enhance the quality of our services by continuously monitoring the satisfaction of the beneficiaries in order to achieve the ambitious vision of our wise leadership to improve quality of life in Abu Dhabi. Government entities in the emirate are working as one to serve all segments of society. We appreciate the collaborative efforts of our partners from the government and social sector that align with our joint ambition to elevate the global standing of Abu Dhabi.”

During the visit, the Undersecretary spoke to the beneficiaries of social sector services, highlighting the Department’s keenness to offer fast and high-quality support to reach the highest levels of satisfaction in line with its vision to provide dignified life for all.

For his part, His Excellency Abdullah Humaid Al Ameri said: “We continue to enhance communication with beneficiaries from low-income families in order to offer optimal services that help them achieve stability and work together to address any challenges. On this occasion, we were pleased to receive an overwhelmingly positive feedback from the beneficiaries of the Abu Dhabi Social Support Program on the levels of service provided by the TAMM service centres.”

He extended his gratitude to the strategic partners of TAMM and commended their efforts to provide the highest-quality services to the beneficiaries with the aim of enhancing their experience, which contributes to achieving the common goal of developing the social sector in Abu Dhabi.
