HE Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Chairman of the Department of Community Development, congratulated HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and his brothers Their Highnesses Members of the UAE Supreme Council Rulers of the Emirates, on the occasion of the UAE’s 51st national day. HE highlighted the numerous remarkable achievements that the UAE accomplished over the years and emphasised that the day provides an ideal opportunity to reaffirm allegiance to the wise leadership, who ensured the safety, peace, and happiness of all the citizens of the country.

HE honoured the efforts of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his brothers, the founding fathers, who paved way for the union and establishment of the UAE. He further stated that they strongly believed in placing people as the cornerstone for growth and development of any nation. He added that the UAE provides an ideal environment for its people to grow and advance, highlighting that efforts to enhance family and community cohesiveness as well as to improve the levels of happiness and welfare, is underway. This is done to advance social development in Abu Dhabi and support the agenda of the social sector, which strives to improve people's quality of life by promoting positive thinking and cultivating diverse skills.

Furthermore, HE emphasised that the UAE has achieved significant feats over the past 50 years, setting an example for other countries in terms of development, advancement, science, and prosperity, under the vision of our wise leadership. He also noted that the UAE also serves as the best example in assisting other nations in a variety of situations, challenges, and crises. Additionally, he also emphasised the efforts being made to advance the nation in several economic, social, cultural, and sporting fields.

HE further lauded the constant efforts made by the citizens, which significantly contributes to advancing the development of the country. He stated: “The 51st year serves as an opportunity to analyse the success we have witnessed in the past 50 years, as we prepare to embark on another year of excellence.”
