Through this service, you can request to renew place of worship licence within 60 days from the date of licence expiration.

  • Service terms and conditions: Place of worship must meet the eligibility conditions stipulated in law number 9 of 2023 concerning the regulation of places of worship for non-Muslims.

 

  • Required Documents:
  1. Council members details
  2. Police clearance certificate for council members
  3. Financial plan for the following 2 years, including the allocated budget
  4. Financial audit report for the last two years
  5. Council member's minutes of the meeting including licence renewal decision (click here)
  6. Lease contract/completion of a building from the Department of Municipalities and Transport
  7. Conformity Certificate from Monitoring and Control Centre
  8. Conformity Certificate from Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority
  9. Recommendation letter for appointment of the council members from the parent of the place of worship
  10. Clearance Certificate from Department of Community Development
  11. Passport and Emirates ID
