Through this service, you can request to renew place of worship licence within 60 days from the date of licence expiration.
- Service terms and conditions: Place of worship must meet the eligibility conditions stipulated in law number 9 of 2023 concerning the regulation of places of worship for non-Muslims.
- Required Documents:
- Council members details
- Police clearance certificate for council members
- Financial plan for the following 2 years, including the allocated budget
- Financial audit report for the last two years
- Council member's minutes of the meeting including licence renewal decision (click here)
- Lease contract/completion of a building from the Department of Municipalities and Transport
- Conformity Certificate from Monitoring and Control Centre
- Conformity Certificate from Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority
- Recommendation letter for appointment of the council members from the parent of the place of worship
- Clearance Certificate from Department of Community Development
- Passport and Emirates ID
