Through this service,  place of worship for non-Muslims can request the renewal of a license for a place of worship or a branch within 60 days from the expiry date of the license

  • Service terms and conditions: To submit license renewal request within 60 days post of license expiry date.
  • Required Documents:
  1. Copies of passport of the board of resolution for religious leader, and manager
  2. Copy of Emirates ID of the board of trustees for religious leader
  3. Copy of CV of the board of trustees for religious leader
  4. Copy of the financial plan for the next 2 years, including the allocated budget
  5. Copy of financial audit report for the past 2 years
  6. Copy of the Places of Worship constitution
  7. Copy of board resolution showing the resolution to renew the license
  8. Certificate of confirmation from Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority
  9. Certificate of confirmation from the Monitoring and Control
  10. Tenancy contract or completion certificate (existing building), notarized by the Department of Municipalities and Transport

 

  • Service Steps:
  1. Receive a notification of license expiry date
  2. Apply for the service through DCD electronic system after Licensing expiry date
  3. Obtain renewed license
