The Social licensing and Control sector prepare the strategic and operational plans for licensing and control activities in the social sector in Abu Dhabi. The sector is responsible in coordination with the concerned entities for licensing the social workers and facilities, Third Sector, non-Muslim places of worship, and Social Contribution in Abu Dhabi.

Mission

Action

This sector conducts audits on compliance with licensing requirements, takes corrective action, monitors licensed facilities, takes disciplinary action (in case of irregularities), and manages customer service complaints.

This sector relies on implementing licensing standards, mechanisms, compliance requirements for social workers and facilities, and coordination with the relevant parties to ensure the continued development of licensing mechanisms by lifting challenges and complaints by the concerned to the competent departments.
