About Social Innovation Talk
“Social Innovation Talks”, is the region's platform for discussions on Social Innovation organized by The Department of Community Development (DCD) under the theme, "Real Issues... Real Impact", aim to raise awareness about the importance of social innovation to the lives of members of society and enabling them to find innovative solutions to various social issues, as well as addressing social challenges that are difficult to solve by traditional methods. Social innovations are new ideas that meet social needs and create new social collaborations.
The Importance of Social Innovation
The first talk will be presented by Norbert Kunz, CEO of Social Impact, one of the most distinguished social entrepreneurs in Germany. The session will discuss the importance of social innovation and the need to develop it and identify its social impacts on key issues and the mechanism for measuring them.
