Active Parks is a the Department of Community Development - Abu Dhabi initiative developed in partnership with ADSC and the municipalities of Abu Dhabi city, Al Ain city, and Al Dhafrah Region, and Community Management Department - Al Dhafrah Region Affairs, designed to encourage community members across Abu Dhabi to utilise public parks and green spaces to pursue an active, outdoor lifestyle.
Completely FREE of charge
Completely free of charge, Active Parks will utilise the abundance of green spaces and public parks across Abu Dhabi, Al Dhafrah and Al Ain to highlight to all community members aged 15-years-old and above that physical activity can be done anywhere.
In its launch phase (Dec 30 2021 to 26 Jan 2022), Active Parks comprises a four-week fitness participation and education programme managed by qualified and insured instructors.
